    Oooohhhh, ribs.

    Yeeeee-haw, the dates of the Big Apple Barbecue Block Party have just been announced. This year, we're looking at June 13th and 14th, with operating hours stretching two hours longer, from 11 a.m. till 7 p.m. $100 Fast Passes are on sale at the event's site.

    As usual, Danny Meyer's folks are promising speedier service (we can only hope). New to the meat fest are Drew Robinson of Jim N Nick's Bar-B-Q in Birmingham, Alabama (he'll be smoking sausage) and Patrick Martin of Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint in Nolensville, Tennessee (doing whole hog).

    Notably absent, again, is Adam Perry Lang -- and we had hoped Robbie Richter and Zak Pelaccio would use the event to showcase some Fatty Cue dishes. Ah well, the out-of-town talent should make up for it.
