The Best Burger Search

Molly's cozy environment adds to its burger appeal

Perpetually in search of the perfect burger, and on the prodding of a pal, I dropped in at a pub called Molly’s. The bacon cheeseburger here for $11.00 is one of the juciest I've ever tried. Made with 100% prime ground sirloin, it’s not fast food cardboard, nor is it over-the-top, over-priced gourmet fare.

Molly’s is a two-block walk from Gramercy Park at 287 3rd Avenue. The century-old Tudor style restaurant and shebeen(illegal drinking establishment) has a real wood-burning fireplace and sawdust on the floor. Perhaps, this coziness makes the burger taste better. The fries are okay. A glass of cold cider washes down well. Off again after this to continue my quest in search of the perfect burger. Any ideas?
