">will finally close and reopen as a new entity this year, the Cuozz reports. This end has been long in coming, as the beautiful upstairs section of the restaurant shuttered over two years ago in the hopes of reopening as Country Steak.
The new two-story restaurant, Millesime, will be a "bustling seafood brasserie" helmed by big name San Francisco chef Laurent Manrique, a man who was in talks to join the space back in December.
Writes the Cuozz, "A glass bridge will connect the mezzanine dining space with a reservations-only bar. A 'Salon Millesime' will also swallow up the ground-floor space that's currently used as Country Grill." No word yet on when it will open, but operators of Millesime have already appeared before Community Board 5 for a liquor license.
