Get local at City Winery's Farm to Table 100-Mile Dinner.

LOCAVORACIOUS: Great Performances and City Winery bring you a Farm to Table 100-Mile Dinner, in which everything that passes your lips is sourced from within a 100-mile radius of New York City—including an open-pit roasted pig from Meiller's Farm and fish tacos from Blue Moon Fish’s dayboat catch. Wash it all down with City Winery’s own wines in the Hudson Square Courtyard. 6PM

CANFUNK: P-Thugg and Dave 1—a.k.a. Montrealler electrofunk duo Chromeo—describe themselves as “the only successful Arab/Jew partnership since the dawn of human culture.” (Also, a rare Canadian foray into the funk field. Just saying.) They de-roof Bowery Ballroom tonight with Holy Ghost! and Telephoned at 9PM (doors at 8).

NOTE FOR NOTE: Tonight wraps The Met’s 2010 Summer Recital Series, known as the Hear Free Opera While Having a BYO Picnic series around our house. The swan song trills in Harlem’s Jackie Robinson Park Bandshell (Edgecombe Avenue &, West 150th Street), featuring soprano Monica Yunus, tenor Matthew Plenk, tenor and bass-baritone Donovan Singletary, accompanied by Jonathan Kelly on piano. 7-8PM.
