The NY Brewfest will pour suds from 100 different craft breweries in the US.

SUDS FOR YOU: Beer, you say? Like, for instance, craft beers from 100 of the finest breweries in New York State and the world, icy cold and yours for the sampling? Plus eats from Sullivan Street Bakery, Pat la Frieda beef burgers, and Van Leeuwen ice cream? And live music (bagpipes!), all on Governor’s Island? Where do we sign up? The 4th Annual New York Brewfest kicks off Saturday at 3:30PM.

NIP/TUCKED: Critics are pretty much unanimous on this one: Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work, directed by Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg, is the intimate documentary you need to see now. You’ll see the hard-edged comedienne without the makeup—literally and figuratively. Find showtimes here.

BRASS RING: Take in a live concert of the music of Louis Armstrong under the trees in Pops’ own garden at his house in Flushing—complete with a bowl of red beans and rice prepared from Louis and Lucille Armstrong's own recipe. An Evening in Louis Armstrong’s Garden is Saturday at 6PM.

TAILS OF THE CITY: Mermaids. Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson. Afterparty at the Aquarium. The 28th Annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade swims down Surf Avenue Saturday at 2PM.

RHYTHM: Eli "Paperboy" Reed’s major label debut “Come and Get It” is designed to make you sweat – and you’re too busy busting a tailfeather to his growly, funky soul sound to ask yourself, say, how is it that a sweet-faced white boy from Massachusetts sounds so much like Otis Redding? Bell House, Saturday, 7PM
