GOOD CAUSE: The Lower Eastside Girls Club – a non-profit that builds strong women out of girls by helping them develop skills, talents and community – takes over Element for a Mardi Gras Benefit Celebration Ball. Come by to hail the king and queen of the ’Gras (writer Jonathan Ames and musician/performance artist CuCu Diamantes), shimmy to Dixieland from NOLA’s own Loose Marbles and the Hungry March Band, and gorge on Two Boots pizza. .
