THIS IS YOUR LIFE: Authors Ben Greenman (the just-released short story collection Celebrity Chekhov, What He's Poised to Do), and Neil Strauss (The Game and the forthcoming Everyone Loves You When You're Dead) are pair of fancy literature types now, but their dark not-quite-secrets include ghostwriting memoirs for the likes of Gene Simmons and Jenna Jameson. They animate the Harper Perennial Party at powerHouse Arena with witty discussions of “fame, fiction, and fandom” and—best part—will write two memoirs on the spot, based on stories shared by audience members. (The imprint’s design team will even be there to design the covers.) Also: There’ll be booze. 7PM.
