“Notorious & Notable” Puts Fashions of Iconic Twentieth Century Women On Display

Stunning couture and exquisite jewelry worn by some of the most well-known women of our time will be on display in New York City.
The beautiful threads will be showcased in the new exhibition, "Notorious & Notable: Twentieth Century Women of Style."

The designs were once worn by fashionistas such as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Barbara Walters and Lena Horn. They will be on display from Tuesday, September 14 to January 3 at the Museum of the City of New York on 5th Avenue.

The exhibit, which is co-presented with the National Jewelry Institute, will showcase pieces from the wardrobes of more than 80 famed women.

The pieces span the entire twentieth century, with the earliest garment dating to the early 1900s and the latest from the 90s.
