Because jeans and leggings have just popped out an illegitimate baby, and its name is Jeggings.

Thinking these are just run-of-the-mill emo-screaming skinny jeans? Ohhhh no. These are genuine, pull-up, Peg Bundy denim leggings. Say the friendly bloggers at Smarter.com:
