Broadway Comes to Bryant Park

106.7 Lite FM concert series, a summer tradition, is free for next five Thursdays

How about a lunch break with the best of Broadway? There are five Thursdays left to take in “106.7 Lite FM’s Broadway in Bryant Park” series, a lunchtime concert hosted by station personalities and featuring performers from Broadway and off-Broadway musicals.

The series, in its 12th year, runs from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on the Bryant Park stage. It’s sponsored by Resorts World Casino New York City. Admission is free, you can sit on the lawn right there off Sixth Avenue and all the performances are hosted by a rotating array of Lite FM jocks.

The tentative schedule for the rest of the season is below:

July 19: “Wicked,” “Memphis,” “Sister Act,” “Zarkana” and “Ghost.” Host: Christine Nagy.

July 26: “Voca People,” “Traces,” “The Fantasticks,” “Jersey Boys.” Host: Helen Little

Aug. 2: “Chaplin, The Musical,” “Mamma Mia!” “One Man, Two Guvnors,” “Silence, the Musical” Host: Delilah

Aug. 9: “Chicago,” “Rebecca,” “Evita,” “Rent.” Host: Rich Kaminski

Aug. 16: “A Christmas Story,” “Nice Work if You Can Get It,” “Avenue Q,” “Bring It On,” “Rock of Ages.” Host: Bob Bronson
