What You're Doing Tonight: Special Halloween Edition

Our roundup of what's worth your time on 10/31

DO IT ONCE: Like that other classic, the New Year's Eve ball drop, the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade is crowded, drunken and best enjoyed from the apartment of that one friend who overlooks 6th Ave. We hear the "Thriller" dancers are kicking it off, fresh off their Guinness Record-breaking performance yesterday.

DEATH & CO.: Dances of Vice brings its 1920s cabaret happening to Prospect Heights' Montauk Club for a Halloween Murder Mystery Party. Expect monocles and tubas.

HOPPY HALLOWEEN: In case the Village Parade isn't boozy enough, there's always Brewtopia, a.k.a. the Great World Beer Festival, at Pier 92.

AFTER HOURS: Bellydancing, New Orleans jazz, trapeze acts, you name it - Spiegelworld's Voodoo Culture Clash at Pier 17 starts after midnight and runs 'til sun-up.

ORGAN MEET: Wall Street's Trinity Church is already pretty creepy the rest of the year, but that should kick into overdrive at their Hallowe'en Happening: booze-fueled storytelling about the cemetery's inhabitants followed by silent film Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde - with live organ accompaniment.
