Chinatown Rings in the Year of the Tiger

The streets of Chinatown resounded with the clang of Chinese cymbals and the cheer of New Yorkers who came out to celebrate the Year of the Tiger. Thousands lined up to watch the 11th annual Lunar New Year Parade and Festival on Sunday afternoon. This was the first year that gay Asian Americans marched as a group in the parade.
