"The Warriors" celebrates 30 years of cultdom.

They were a little bit Mad Max and a little bit The Outsiders. And let's face it, Scorcese: This is the original Gangs of New York.

We’re talking about the unforgettable misfits in Walter Hill’s 1979 "The Warriors," a movie that’s as much a document of NYC in the gritty, left-for-dead 1970s as “Taxi Driver” or “Marathon Man.” To celebrate 30 years of hallowed cult status, members of the original cast – including Michael Beck (Swan) and Terry Michos (Vermin) -- will congregate on Warriors home turf, at Coney Island’s Sideshows by the Seashore, for a night of screenings, reminiscences, and orange pleather vests. The whole affair benefits Coney Island USA, the non-profit organization dedicated to keeping the arts alive in Coney. Can you dig it?

Get your tickets fast; a second screening's already been added due to high demand.
