REMEMBER: Former Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani narrates HBO’s documentary “In Memoriam: New York City, 9/11/01,” which brings together affecting still photography and video footage, eyewitness interviews and behind-the-scenes access to City Hall dealing with the aftermath. The film screens at the Museum of the City of New York at 3PM.

GYPPED: The Fifth Annual New York Gypsy Festival is no sober affair: today through September 26, soak up sounds from traditional to rootsy to punk from musicians both homegrown (like Brian Chase of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, drumming for Sway Machinery) and far-flung (like Turkish clarinet virtuoso Barbaros Erkose). Schedule and locations vary. http://nygypsyfest.com/2009/main.htm

HOP TO IT: The Second Annual NY Craft Beer Week, by the numbers: 83 different venues, pouring 162 unique beers, throughout all five boroughs, over nine days (through September 19). Any questions? Pick up a NYC Beer Passport ($35) to partake of the festivities – that gets you $2 pours at participating bars and access to nifty events like the Brooklyn Scary Dive-Bar Crawl on Wednesday.
