IN THE MIX: When Edible Brooklyn throws a party, you just know you’re going to wake up the next morning feeling all fuzzy-tongued and needing to dig out your fat pants--in the very best way. Tonight, they bring together chefs from the likes of Fette Sau, No. 7 and The Vanderbilt (among others) to create cocktail pairings with their grub (using boozes from Illegal Mezcal, Tuthilltown Spirits and more). The $40 ticket also gets you a year’s worth of Edible Brooklyn or Manhattan, with code “cocktail.” Good Spirits is at Bell House, 6-9PM.

SMORGASBORD: It’s a mashup of various scenes as The Rumpus, Tinhouse and Flavorpill join forces to bring you the multimedia extravaganza that is A Night Together. On the bill: authors Sam Lipsyte and Colson Whitehead, comedians Michael Showalter and Dave Hill, musicians Alina Simone and Jeffrey Lewis and more. A Night Together starts at 7PM.

ZEN: Anne Lamott, everyone’s favorite tender/smart/vulnerable be-dreadlocked Nor-Cal prophet, brings her new book “Imperfect Birds”--about family ties (and knots, and frayed bits)--to the Union Square Barnes & Noble for a read-’n-sign. 7PM.
