12/15: Chris Brown's “Fan Appreciation” Tour

Plus, a buffet of food documentaries at Anthology and Hugh Grant and SJ Parker live

BROWN BAGGED: Chris Brown’s had an, ah, interesting year. His 19-city “Fan Appreciation” tour isn’t officially part of his atonement for the whole Rihanna thing, but it sure is a shrewd move to play intimate rooms (well, the Nokia may not be Living Room-cozy, but it’s no MSG) and put the spotlight back on Brown’s new album "Graffiti", on his talent – and on the ticket- and album-buyers who’ve stayed put. 8PM.

WHINE PAIRING: Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant come to the Soho Apple Store to discuss their new romantic comedy “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” (out this coming Friday), about edge-of-divorce marrieds are forced back together when they move from NYC to wee-town Wyoming and enter the witness protection program. Or as we like to call it, "City Slickers" With Hugh Grant Looking Uncomfortable. 7PM.

LIVE TO EAT: Anthology Film Archive serves up a veritable buffet of excerpts from upcoming food-themed documentaries that challenge how we eat, including Shelley Rogers’ What’s “Organic” About Organic? Food-politics and sustainable-agriculture author Anna Lappé moderates a post-screening chat with the filmmakers, and afterwards, everyone kicks it at nearby party Jimmy’s No 43 bar, noshing on snacky samples from local purveyors like Flying Pigs Farm, Blue Isle Oyster Company, Rick’s Picks and more. Hungry Filmmakers starts at 7:30PM.
