STOCKING FEAT: Yes, it’s the Biggest Shopping Day of the Year. Counter that daunting proposition with a visit to the Annie’s Blue Ribbon General Store’s Upper West Side Pop-up. We’ve long loved the Boerum Hill giftery for its quirky, homey stock of gadgets, home accessories and old-fashioned treats, and now you can shop the goods without crossing a river at the 1,600-square-foot temp shop at 2408 Broadway, near 88th, through Christmas eve. NY Mag has a fun slideshow. 11-8PM Monday-Saturday; 11-7PM Sunday.
JUSTIN TIME: That high-pitched squeal you hear in Midtown? That’d be the Justin Bieber book signing at the Barnes & Noble near Bryant Park. There are wristbands involved (you need to be in line at 8AM for that) and we can only imagine the general hysteria at this event will make the Black Friday scene at shopping malls across the country pale in comparison. Still, how psyched will your daughter/niece/little sister be when you present her with a signed copy of First Step 2 Forever: My Story? A: Very. 2PM.
