When we first told you about the Naked Girls Reading Banned Books event, we let slip that there might be a holiday edition of the increasingly popular series sledding your way this yuletide season -- specifically, that "A Christmas Carol" might be getting the Naked Girls Reading treatment. We've been crossing our fingers ever since.
And it worked! Dickens gets his due on Wednesday night, as a handful of burlesque beauties in their altogether revisit the tale of Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and Ebenezer Scrooge himself – using the author’s own reading text for maximum veracity. Call it Victorian literature buffs reading in the buff. A heartwarming tale designed to warm the loins. It’s just so hard to stop once you start making Dickensian double-entendres.
