MAPBoasting a Greenwich-Village cool, NYU is probably too hip to even be in this contest, but how could we leave out the largest private, nonprofit institution of higher education in the United States? These Bobcats are ready to take on any Lions, and are not afraid to travel far and wide to sing songs of their pride. The school recently announced plans to create a campus in Abu Dhabi. And, they will always be represented in the movies, they’ve had 19 Academy Award winners on their alumni mailing list – more than any other university.
