Just south of Columbus Circle, the Hudson Hotel's 15th-floor bar offers great views of both the city and the Hudson River, and not just for hotel guests. It's the first year the Sky Terrace is open to the public, and the secret's out, so make sure to go early to snag a hammock for two. The landscaped terrace almost makes you feel like you're on vacation, so long as you've got the iPod in to block out the sounds of the bustling city below.
