Tucked away on St. Marks Place, Crif Dogs keeps the ’80s vibe alive with kitschy décor, retro video games and a secret surprise behind the phone booth. But the real attraction is, of course, the deep-fried hot dogs. The variety of dogs -- with names like the Spicy Redneck, the Tsunami and the Chihuahua -- are matched only by the variety of toppings available. Add root beer (or real beer) and cheese fries, and you’ve got yourself some seriously indulgent kweezeen.
