New Year's Confetti Tested for Big Day

Confetti will have wishes in 20 different languages

Confetti that will cover Times Square on New Year’s Eve dropped from the sky a bit early as part of Monday's annual “air worthiness test” outside the M&M World Store.

And following in last year’s tradition, many of the pieces of confetti that descend upon millions of revelers in Times Square on New Year’s Eve will feature messages on them, written in more than 20 different languages by people all over the world.

The confetti is part of the “3 Musketeers Confetti Wishing Wall,” on display until Dec. 31 in the Times Square Information Center. Anyone can stop by and write their very own personalized ‘wish’ and pin it to the wall.  You also can make wishes online at www.timessquarenyc.org
