The Screening Room showcases the best of underground production in the New York region.
It’s an opportunity for you, the independent film and television producer, to finally get your work inside a major broadcast venue without all the usual obstacles.
We know that for every writer, producer, and on-air talent who earn a living every day in the entertainment industry there are thousands of people like you with talent, creativity and drive to entertain. But there is one huge obstacle holding you back: You don't have the right connections … until now.
The Screening Room is that connection. In essence, it's a film festival on TV without all the fees and limitations of a traditional film festival. The showcase is ongoing so there are no deadlines and no limitations on time. We are holding an “open call” to all independent producers who have a finished 3-minute or longer pilot, film, or music video. Our staff will review each submission and the best of these submissions will then be aired on a weekly program block dedicated to the independent producer.
