New York Live is a daily lifestyle show produced by LX.TV, airing weekdays on NBC 4 New York. The show features fashion, beauty, celebrity interviews, cooking, arts and tri-state area stories.
About the Hosts
Sara Gore co-hosts New York Live.
Sara was the host of 1st Look the weekly lifestyle show that spotlights the latest in New York fashion, food, shopping and entertainment. She anchors OpenHouse NYC, a weekly look at real estate and design trends. She also appears regularly on NBC's Today Show and is on the entertainment council for Feeding America, the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief charity.
In addition to interviewing celebrity guests and dishing on the latest gossip with her co-hosts, Sara explores her passion for food on New York Live, cooking up creative dishes with some of the country's most in-demand chefs and restaurateurs.
Jane Hanson co-hosts New York Live.
She has won nine Emmy Awards and brings more than 30 years of reporting experience to New York Live. She spent 27 of those years at NBC, where she began as an anchor and correspondent for WNBC New York in 1979. In 1988, Jane was named co-anchor of "Today in New York," a position she held until 2003 when she became the station's primary anchor for local programming and the host of "Jane's New York."
Jane is a former president of the New York chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She lives with her husband and teenage daughter on Long Island.
Siafa Lewis is a correspondent for New York Live.
A known sports enthusiast, Siafa dabbled in modeling and acting before he began on-air reporting, landing his big break when he won Philadelphia station WCAU-NBC 10's "Best Gig Ever" contest. He later served as co-host on SNY's Met's Weekly show, as a general assignment reporter for their news division, and as the network's exclusive beat reporter for the New York Giants.
A former correspondent for 1st Look, Siafa brings his insider's knowledge of the New York dining and shopping scene to New York Live.
Ben Aaron is a correspondent for New York Live.
Ben got his first taste of the entertainment business as a young DJ, hosting parties and spinning vinyl for New York City crowds, which eventually led to a weekly hosting gig at a Connecticut area radio station. While attending Emerson College, Ben fell in love with television, developing several new shows for a Boston television station. From there, he went to the West Coast, hosting various radio and television shows.
Now that he's back in his hometown, you'll find Ben interviewing unsuspecting New Yorkers on the streets of Manhattan and trying his hand at various activities from breakdancing to table tennis -- yielding hilarious results.
George Oliphant is host of George to The Rescue and makes special appearances on New York Live.
George got his start on TV as a VJ for MTVu, MTV’s college music channel and later, MTV’s first high definition music channel, MHD. George was also a host on LX.TV's weekly lifestyle show 1st Look.
The host of George to the Rescue, George is known for rescuing homeowners in distress -- a skill he's bringing to New York Live, surprising homeowners with design makeovers and renovations.
