Some of the most talented artists perform some of the most beautiful compositions at the 12 world-renowned resident arts organizations that make up Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

More than a half million people visit the Manhattan site each year. The foremost performing arts center in the world presents nearly 400 performances under the name "Lincoln Center Presents."  From classical traditions to the boldest contemporary performances, Lincoln Center has it all.

Remarkably, government funding provides less than 5 percent of the center’s budget. Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is a privately funded nonprofit institution.
