NEW YORK, NY (March 23, 2011) – APA@NBCUniversal (Asian Pacific Americans), a volunteer employee organization, is partnering with New York State Restaurant Association (NYSRA), AZIX, Japanese American Association, FEED and the restaurant industry for “Dine Out for Japan Relief” starting March 23rd – 30th .

For one week, participating New York City restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds from every breakfast, lunch and dinner to the Red Cross to help tsunami recovery and relief efforts in Japan.

Participating restaurants include:

ABC Kitchen * Aburiya Kinnosuke * Alice’s Tea Cup * Asia de Cuba at Morgans * Bar Basque * Bar Italia * Bogota Latin Bistro * Brasserie Ruhlmann * Carte Blanche * Cha-An * China Grill * Choshi * Curry-Ya * Decibel * Ed’s Chowder House * The Empire Hotel Rooftop *  Foodparc * Hakata Tonton * Havana Central * Hasaki * Ippudo NY * Jack the Horse Tavern * Jojo * Ko Sushi * Le Colonial Restaurant * Madison * The Mark Restaurant * The Mercer Kitchen * North Square Restaurant * Orsay * Otafuku * PDT * Perry St * plunge at Gansevoort Meatpacking * Rai Rai Ken * Robataya * Sakagura * SD26 * Shabu-Tatsu * Shimizu * Soba-ya * Soba Totto * Sugar Bun Bakery * Tanuki Tavern * Telepan * Totto Ramen * Yakitori Totto

Also a part of the “Dine Out for Japan Relief,” are participating restaurants outside of New York including those in Atlantic City, NJ, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Las Vegas, NV, Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, and London.
