7 Attackers Caught on Camera Pummeling Men on NYC Corner: NYPD

    Police in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx are looking for 7 suspects in a violent attack caught on camera. Marc Santia reports. (Published Monday, Aug. 8, 2016)

    Police are looking for the seven attackers they say jumped two men during a robbery attempt in the Bronx late last month.

    The robbers, all thought to be between 17 and 18 years old accosted the two victims, ages 18 and 20, at West Tremont and University avenues in the Bronx's Morris Heights neighborhood on June 22.  

    Surveillance footage from the scene shows several of the teen attackers pummeling one of the victims in the roadway as several bystanders look on. 

    After the attack, the teens ran off on University Avenue without taking anything.

    An 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old man were attacked by a group of seven people in an attempted robbery in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx, police say. The men were at the corner of West Tremont and University avenues last month when they were attacked. Surveillance video shows the group coming at the victims as they try to fight back. (Published Monday, Aug. 8, 2016)

    The victims had minor injuries and refused medical attention.
