The cooking competition for Moves magazine benefits the Make a Wish foundation.

NBC New York's own Darlene Rodriguez has won the 2011 Moves Magazine's personal chef cooking competition, helping benefit her charity of choice, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hudson Valley.

Rodriguez, co-anchor of "Today in New York," teamed up with "Top Chef" alum and Buddakan chef Dale Talde for the fourth annual cooking competition. It was hosted by Aaron Eckhart on March 10th at the launch of the spring 2011 issue of Moves Magazine.

Facing two other news anchor-restaurant chef teams, Rodriguez and Talde cooked up a three-course dinner in 30 minutes, and earned top scores from three celebrity judges.

The team was awarded money to donate to their charity of choice, and Rodriguez chose the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Hudson Valley.
