The New York Knicks stunned the champion Boston Celtics Sunday night 100-88 in a victory that ended a home losing streak that dated back to 2005.

Wilson Chandler and Al Harrington combined for 61 points between them to lead the way. The Knicks' newest 1-2 combo could soon become a dangerous duo among Eastern Conference forwards.

Chandler, who has averaged 20 points and six rebounds in his last five games, set a career high in scoring with 31 points. Validating comparisons to players like Shawn Marion, the development of his all-around game has been the brightest spot for an improved-but-still-mediocre Knicks team.

David Lee, the primary challenger to these two for title of Best Player On A Mediocre Team, also had a solid game with a hearty double-double and a couple blocks to boot.

The Celtics are in the midst of their worst stretch of the season, now 2-4 over their last six games. They may have also been distracted by the recent buzz about Stephon Marbury possibly joining their team for the stretch run. A scenario that remains a possibility should the Knicks and Marbury ever figure out how to get a divorce (hint: someone has to move out).

The Knicks will have ample opportunity to build on the quality win, as they tip off against the NBA's worst in Oklahaoma City on Tuesday.
