The New York Rangers celebrate their shootout win against the Boston Bruins on Nov. 15, 2008, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Nigel Dawes and Markus Naslund wiped out New York's two-goal deficit in the closing minutes of the third period, and Chris Drury scored the lone goal in the shootout to give the Rangers a 3-2 victory that snapped the Boston Bruins' five-game winning streak Saturday night.

The win wasn't in hand for the Rangers until a video review showed Patrice Bergeron's shot in the last round of the shootout hit the post and didn't cross the line even though the red light flashed. Dawes' first attempt of the tiebreaker also faced a review to show that a goal wasn't scored.

None of that would've happened if not for the late heroics of Dawes and Naslund, who scored 5:12 apart. Dawes brought the Rangers within a goal with 6:05 left and Naslund tied it with only 52.9 seconds showing against Tim Thomas.
