Paula Radcliffe of Great Britain crosses the finish line during the 40th ING New York City Marathon on November 1, 2009 in New York City.

Marathon world-record holder Paula Radcliffe plans to enter the New York Mini 10K next month, but she won't be trying to win.

That's because she'll be running for two: The Brit is expecting her second child in September.

The 36-year-old Radcliffe and friend Kara Goucher have the same due date. They decided the women-only event June 12 was a good way to get together before their travel is limited by pregnancy.

This is the first child for the 32-year-old Goucher. The American finished third at the 2009 Boston Marathon and 2008 New York City Marathon, when Radcliffe won her third NYC title.

Radcliffe has a 3-year-old daughter, Isla.
