Spray tans and hair gel will be flying off the shelves of Nebraska Walmarts as the triple-A Omaha Royals will host a Jersey Shore night tonight.
The Pacific Coast League team will face the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, a rival from just across the banks of the Missouri River- but the real show will be in the stands.
Rob Crain, the team's promotions director, says the Royals are playing off what's hot in pop culture.
The promotional night is a nod to the MTV reality show and its now infamous cast.
Anyone who comes to the game with a hair style reminiscent of Pauly D’s “blowout” or Snooki’s “Bump” along with receipt of a spray tan or bottle of hair gel the will gain free general admission to the game.
The team will also have cameras scanning the crowd between innings in order to catch fans on the “fist-pump" cam which will zero in on fans dancing to the techno tune "Sandstorm."
