NFLPA: Date Set for Brady Appeal

A date has been set for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to appeal his four-game suspension.

The NFL Players Association confirms that Brady's hearing will be held on June 23. It may be continued to June 25.

Brady was suspended by the NFL for the deflation of footballs in the Patriots' AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts. Commissioner Roger Goodell will hear the appeal despite the NFLPA's claim that he would not be impartial and would be called as a witness.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft has decided not to appeal the league's penalties on the team, which is a $1 million fine and docked two draft picks.

Brady has denied cheating.
