Trevor Daley knocked his own rebound into the goal 1:51 into overtime to give the Dallas Stars a 5-4 victory over Detroit on Monday night, ending the Red Wings' six-game winning streak.

In a flurry of activity in front of Detroit goalie Chris Osgood, Daley took a shot that got knocked down but was still on the ice when he followed up for his fourth goal of the season — and Dallas' only lead.

The Stars, who trailed 3-1 after the first period, forced overtime when Steve Ott scored with 3 minutes left in regulation. Ott took a crossing pass from Mike Ribeiro and knocked the puck into the left side of the net when Osgood was unable to recover.

Pavel Datsyuk had a goal and two assists for the Red Wings, giving him 18 points the last 11 games, and Osgood stopped a season-high 44 shots. Brian Rafalski, Tomas Holmstrom, Marian Hossa also scored.

Nicklas Grossman, Stephane Robidas and Mark Parrish had Dallas' other goals.

Lightning 3, Kings 1

Evgeny Artyukhin and Mark Recchi scored 41 seconds apart late in the first period, and Vincent Lecavalier also had a goal for Tampa Bay.

Mike Smith made 29 saves, helping lead the Lightning to their third win in four games and improving his career record against the Kings to 5-0-0. The only puck that got past him was Peter Harrold's one-timer to the glove side at 18:02 of the second period.
