Ryan Lochte’s too busy making waves in the pool to commit to a girlfriend, his mom told NBC’s Today.com.
Ike Lochte told "Today" Tuesday that her son “goes out on one-night stands” and can’t give fully to a relationship because “he’s always on the go.”
The 27-year-old swimmer, who turns 28 on Friday, has made three Olympic appearances and has already accumulated ten medals (five gold) and counting.
Lochte faced off against Phelps for the last time in London during the 200m individual medley finals Thursday, finishing just behind his towering teammate and winning silver.
The Daytona, Fla., native often takes to Twitter, thanking his fans, whom he calls #LochteNation.
