Missouri Triples National Guard Presence in Ferguson

Missouri Governor Nixon announced on Tuesday that more than 2,200 National Guardsman will be on duty in Ferguson, Missouri in preparation for a second night of violent protests. Rioting was sparked immediately after the county prosecutor Bob McCulloch announced that grand jury's decision to not indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting of unarmed teen Michael Brown on Aug. 9 where with 700 troops to combat the crowds. Nixon said in a press conference that Monday night's destructive activity cannot be repeated as people of the St. Louis suburb are bracing for more.
