9 Dead as S. Korea Ferry Families Rent Their Own Boat

The search for the 300 missing after a ferry sank off the coast of South Korea resumed Thursday morning. Many of the missing are were high school seniors who were on a field trip. Some parents frustrated by the rescue effort chipped in to rent their own boat to search for loved ones. Authorities are bracing for the death toll in the disaster, which now stands at 9, to rise dramatically.
