10-Year-Old Boy Knits Caps for Sick Kids

Ten-year-old Garrett Lowry loves playing baseball, but there are caps more important to him than the ones he wears on the baseball field.

With the help of his mom and grandma, the Littleton, Colorado, native knit 50 caps for sick patients at Children's Hospital Colorado, NBC affiliate KUSA reports.

"Going through that kind of thing might scare people, and I just want to make something that can make them more comfortable while they are in the hospital," Garrett told the station.
