Two people were shot, one critically, in an early-morning shooting on Staten Island, police said.
The shooting happened in front of 560 Bay Street in the Stapleton section. Additional police were called to the scene for a large disorderly group, authorities said.
A male and a female were shot, and both were taken to an area hospital.
Police said the male victim is in critical condition. The female victim, who was shot in the leg, is in stable condition.
