Speaker Quinn Sets Wedding Date

Speaker Christine Quinn and her longtime partner Kim Catullo, seen here at last year's Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting party, will wed on May 19 in Manhattan.

The City Council Speaker's office announced Monday that  Speaker Christine Quinn had set a date to marry her longtime partner.

The 45-year-old councilwoman sent out "save the date" cards yesterday to the wedding between her and lawyer Kim Catullo. The cards were designed to look like vintage subway cards, according to the New York Post.

The wedding will be held May 19 in Manhattan, and her office said it will be a private event attended by friends and family.

The Post said Mayor Michael Bloomberg was invited to the wedding.
