1 Killed, 4 Hurt in Separate Bronx Car Crashes

A teenage girl was killed and two boys, a women and another teenage girl were seriously injured in two separate car crashes in the Bronx Friday afternoon.
 
Authorities say two 16-year-old girls and a 51-year-old woman were struck by a car on the Grand Concourse near 140th Street. They were taken to nearby hospitals where one of the girls was pronounced dead. The other girl and the woman are listed in serious but stable condition.
 
In the second crash, two boys, 9 and 10, were on the corner of Morrison and Westchester avenues in Soundview when they were hit.
 
They were transported to Jacobi Medical Center in serious condition, officials said.
 
No arrests have been made in connection with either accident.
