LI Housekeeper Accused of Stealing Jewelry, Cash from Homes

Osmina Guzman, 45, allegedly stole the items from three homes she cleaned in the Five Towns

Police arrested a Queens housekeeper for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, silverware and cash from homes she cleaned.

Detectives say Osmina Guzman, 45 of Far Rockaway, first removed approximately $10,000 worth of jewelry and silverware from a home in Woodmere.

During the investigation and arrest for that incident, police found Guzman also stole jewelry and cash from a home in Cedarhurst and a home in Woodmere, totaling over $32,000.

She is charged with three counts of grand larceny and will be arraigned Tuesday in Hempstead.
