Bankrobber Armed To Teeth In Westchester Heist

The FBI released video Tuesday of a bank robber who used an assault rifle and a handgun to rob a Chase bank in a quiet Westchester suburb.

The tape shows the gunman crisscrossing the bank lobby, his weapon pointed at tellers behind the counter at the branch in Hastings-on-Hudson.

The hold-up happened back on December 17 and the FBI hopes video of the masked suspect helps them get a tip.  "This is a very dangerous situation," said FBI New York spokesman Richard Kolko

"He needs to be caught right away."

The FBI did release a still photo to the media last month but the gunman remains on the loose.  He is described as a black male, in his 20's, 5'9-6'0 feet tall who was wearing a green camouflage jacket and orange goggles.

The suspect made off with thousands in cash.  No one was hurt in the incident.  The FBI asks anyone with information to call 212-384-1000.

All calls are confidential and there is a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
