Motorcyclist Killed in Lincoln Tunnel Accident

The accident happened shortly before 4 a.m Sunday in the tunnel's south tube.

    It happened Saturday around 4:20 a.m. at the Super Lodge Motel on the 1200 block of West Avenue in New Castle.

    A motorcyclist riding through the Lincoln Tunnel was killed after colliding with a taxi.

    Officials with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey tell the Daily News the accident happened shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday in the tunnel's south tube.
    Officials say the 31-year-old motorcyclist hit the back of the cab near the Manhattan side of the Hudson River crossing. He died at the hospital.
