Police are searching for a serial robber who has struck in Manhattan at least 14 times since May.
The robber approaches people in various locations, displays or simulates a weapon -- either a firearm or knife -- and threatens them, police say.
He has taken jewelry, money, cell phones and other electronics, and has committed robberies in the East Village, Gramercy and on the Lower East Side.
Police describe him as in his 30s, 5'9"-6'0", with a thin mustache and a thin beard. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, gray pants and black sneakers.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident or the identity and whereabouts of this man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
