Nassau County homicide detectives are investigating the accidental drowning of a housekeeper at a home in Upper Brookville.
According to detectives, police officers responded to the home on Carol Lane and found the 30-year-old female unresponsive at the bottom of the pool.
Officers dove in to retrieve her, and began CPR.She was transported to a local hospital, and pronounced dead at 11:32 p.m.
Detectives have determined the drowning was accidental. The victim was worked at the residence.
