Ochocinco Treats Twitter Friends to Dinner at Sylvia's

The New England Patriots player treated 200 fans to dinner at the Harlem restaurant.

New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco treated 200 fans to dinner at iconic Harlem soul food restaurant Sylvia's Monday night after sending a last-minute invitation out on Twitter.

"Dinner in NY tonight 1st 200 people at Sylvia's Restaurant by 7 pm in Harlem." he tweeted. "Leave ya money/credit cards at home. I got you this time."

The line for dinner at the Lenox Avenue restaurant began not long after he tweeted the invitation, according to DNAInfo.

The diners filled the uptown restaurant, and feasted on ribs, fried chicken, greens and macaroni and cheese, all paid for by Ochocinco.

He also tweeted that he gave his phone number out to all 200 fans, as a way to stay better connected.

"Being able to reach out is better than a picture," Ochocinco told diners, according to the site.

This isn't the star's first invitation through the social site -- in October 2010, he bought steak dinner for the first 85 fans who met him at XO Prime Steakhouse, in Cleveland.

He's also taken random fans out to the movies and dinners when visiting different cities.

Ochocinco was in town to finalize a new reality TV show deal on VH1 chronicling his upcoming marriage to fiance Evelyn Lozado called "Eva and Ocho."
