Brooklyn Teen Arrested in Death of Young Boy, Authorities Still Investigating Death of Bronx Baby

The medical examiner hasn't determined the cause of death for the infant in the Bronx.

A Brooklyn teenager has been arrested in the death of his girlfriend's 1-year-old boy, which was ruled a homicide. 
 
The medical examiner's office said Jacqil Degraffenreid died of lacerations to the liver and pancreas and internal hemorrhaging.  
 
He was found unconscious Saturday at his home. 
 
Nineteen-year-old Tyree Wright is charged with assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child. His girlfriend is being questioned but has not been charged. It was not immediately known if he had a lawyer.
 
Police did not release her name, since she isn't a suspect.
 
Also on Saturday, a baby girl was found unconscious at her Bronx home. The cause of death for 2-month-old Angelise Correa is under investigation. There have been no arrests.
 
Angelise was pronounced dead at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. Jacqil was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.
