Bloomberg has put the election rumors to rest now that he's accepted a new job. The Mayor is set to star as himself in Bloomberger, an autobiographical play written and performed by Bloomberg. The show will premiere in August 2009.
The Mayor says he plans to spend the next year learning how to sing and dance.
He recently spent time with Tom Cruise who is helping him develop his acting skills and will also be working closely with Madonna who has promised to teach the Mayor how to dance.
The proceeds from the one man show will go to fight malaria. Bloomberg says that he wants the play to be seen all over the world and will make it available in movie theaters and online.
