Authorities are asking anyone with information to call 800-244-8477.

Nassau police are hoping the public can help catch a woman who allegedly offered to bless $45,000 for a restaurant owner but instead took off with the money.

Authorities released photos from surveillance video of a woman who met with the owner of Los Amigos Hispanic Restaurant on Union Avenue in Westbury in July and told him that his business would flourish if he allowed her to bless his money, police said.

The restaurant owner handed over the cash, which the suspect said she would return "clean" when she came back. When the victim went to meet the woman 30 minutes later, the woman and his money were gone, cops said.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to call 800-244-8477.  All calls will be kept confidential.
